WIDE Camp Demonstration, NEPL Mobile Network Statistics

This page show some real-time statistics (updated every 5 minutes)

Latency measurement with RUDE/CRUDE

RUDE/CRUDE allows us to measure the latency between a MNN (located in the WIDE Camp network, in Nagano) and a correspondant located outside of the camp Network (in Shin-Kawasaki) according to the output interface used on the Mobile Router. The MR being multihomed, each graph represents each MR's egress interface. Those graphs are refreshed every five minutes. The X-axis shows the packet number and the Y-axis shows how long it tooks for this packet to reach its correspondent when using the corresponding interface. You can thus easily spot the Satellite link, which has a very high latency (about 300ms) where the other accesses are around 60ms.

Throughput Measurement with SONAR

SONAR allows us to gather many mobility statistics. For example, we show below the average throughput on each of the Mobile Router interface. You can thus see the current status of each egress interface of the Mobile Router (down, overloaded, etc.)
